If this is too mighty work, thin hardwood paneling (birch?) applied over the brick would brighten up the location and effect it warm-modern, especially with some metal reveals/details.     @larchgirl Barn doors are not an inexpensive option. The hardware alone costs more than the mid range closet door. Sliding Japanese Sojee (sp?) screens are an afordable option and if you are a bit of a handyman you can your bear out of wooden slats and pellon (the fabric aged for interfacing collars etc in homemade clothing which comes in various thicknesses).

    I tried Jet, and will not them again . Be aware that they “source” their products from various merchandisers, so you ultimately receive your items from a variety of stores, not directly from Jet. A number of my items were shipped from Walmart, several in different shipments from Walmart; in total, I received many separate shipments for the items I ordered at the same time. Also be aware that despite the dates they say your shipment will arrive, mine arrived at many different times, and several were delayed.
